Diana started ballet classes at school and then took up Ballroom and Latin American when she was an Adult in London with Vernon Kemp at the Gwenethe Walshe School. She took ISTD medals in Ballroom, Latin and Sequence dancing and turned professional in 1994.
Teaching consistently in London since qualifying she started classes in Rickmansworth in 2006 and now has established a school teaching Ballroom dancing in the Rickmansworth area.
Diana competed as an amateur in ballroom for a short time before taking professional exams. She was fortunate to have had the opportunity to introduce classical sequence dancing in Japan on 3 different occasions from 2000. She has lectured in the UK and partnered many times at teachers` congress and adjudicates at Medallist competitions.
Diana is a member of the Sequence Faculty of the ISTD and is the Representative for the quarterly Dance magazine for ISTD members and she also helps to produce a regular Newsletter for the Sequence Committee.
She has recently qualified as a “Move It or Lose It” instructor.
Diana was born in Rickmansworth and lives in West London.
